Circa 1906 was a great year for them because it was the inauguration of the museum where first memorabilia were displayed and formed part of the highlights.
There are two other museums, the Roman Bath which is the biggest bathing area in Europe with halls for bathing with cold or hot water, toilet rooms and many more. Visitors used this during the first century until the third century A.D. The other, an open air site museum, is the Aladja monastery and was declared as a national heritage site.
In 1945, it became the state property and have been popular and well-known worldwide.
The oldest gold treasure in the world is known as the Gold of Varna. It occupies three separate exhibition halls in the museum. The different valuables were dug in 1972. They begun to exhibit this in 1973 in some countries like Japan, Canada, Germany, France, Italy and Israel.
